How to create DTM using SRTM / Aster data in AutoPlotter?

To create DTM, the data source should be chosen i.e. the DTM should be created based on SRTM or Aster data source. To choose the source, click on Config -> General Settings. 

Choose the required DEM source from the list and close the window.

Create the boundary or import the KML file into AutoPlotter (Boundary should be created using UTM coordinates)

Select Active DTM under DTM menu, click on Use Selected Region and select the boundary

After boundary is selected, click on Load Offline DEM Data.

Automatically a new DTM will be created based on SRTM/Aster data. The software will fetch this data from the SRTM / Aster files stored in the system location.

DTM surface can be viewed by clicking on the TIN.

Using this surface, it is possible to create contours, sections or any other DTM related tasks.
