How to create grid data inside a closed boundary using AutoPlotter?

Procedure to create Grid data inside a closed boundary:

Step1 Import the survey data into AUTOPLOTTER. Create a closed boundary either using polyline or by converting type of Code to closed polygon. Then select DTM points to grid points under DTM menu.

is

Step2 : In Create Gird Points from DTM window, parameters related to grid data generation are displayed.

Add Point to New Group: If it is True, the newly created grid points will be save in the same point group as of the current data. To create a new Point Group of the grid points, select False from the options.
File: to save the generated grid points to a new file, click on the file selection button and give a suitable name of the file.
Complete Data: If there is no boundary and the grid points have to be created for the entire region, this option can be made True. To generate grid data inside boundary, select False from the options.
X Spacing: grid data X spacing
Y Spacing: grid data Y spacing
Code: Code to be given to the newly generated Grid Points
Draw Grid Lines: Make it True to draw grid lines on the grid points generated
Draw Grid Caption: Select the option most appropriate as per requirement to display the caption on X and Y axis
Grid Inside Boundary: If the selected option is False, the grid data will be generated considering the entire region of X, Y data. To generate data inside a closed boundary, select True. If the option selected is True, other related parameters options will appear to select the boundary and provide grid start X and Y. These values can be in round figures to generate data for non-decimal X & Y coordinates. Grid values can be created at a given angle in Select grid angle option.

To view the grid data, Select View Survey Data from Data menu
