Dynamic table is used to show the area statement with the cross section.
This could be any predefined areas such as cut / fill, design layers, PCC etc.
It is even possible to define areas in case those are not available in the predefined area list.
Using Variables, User Defined Field, Formula, Custom Enclosed / Line Area, it is possible to define area of choice from the cross section.
Here, we’ll see how to define area using User Defined Field.
To define the area, click on Add button and give name and caption of the area you want to define.
For each cut area or fill area, the region can be from end
to end i.e., extreme end points of the selected layer or fixed i.e., fixed
anchor points or offset values can be given in the form and to text boxes. In
From Layer and To Layer list, all the layers are displayed. You can choose the
layers between which the area is to be defined and save the definition.
Step
2: To display this User Defined Field in the area
statement, define the Dynamic Table and in the box/field where you want to
display the value, press F9 and select the definition. This will display the
value of the User Defined Field
